Their voices do leave earplugs to be desired, but they are so varied & beautiful & particular about their locations.
I have been trying to photograph the Green Jays in the Rio Grande Valley for years & am very upset I never got any Grey Jay photos when we were Canada.

Yes, jays are beautiful, though I've only seen the blue ones. Even their song is pretty some of the time...
The Green and Gray jays must be different from the blue ones. They are everywhere and aggressive feeders...
